Taking place each November, Tallinn Humanitarian Conference convenes experts and practitioners from a diverse array of international humanitarian organisations, sharing first-hand experiences from frontline operations, cutting-edge research, advocacy initiatives, and policy development.
Over the years, the conference has featured speakers from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Secretariat, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO), the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine.
Speakers have also represented the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), INTERSOS, the Start Network, ALNAP, the Sphere Association, the Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP), the RCRC Climate Centre, the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, KoBoToolbox, Data Friendly Space, HURIDOCS, the Estonian Refugee Council, Market Impact, the NGO Centre of United Action, CinqC, and the Gaza Soup Kitchen.
Tallinn Humanitarian Conference fosters dialogue and collaboration across the humanitarian community, addressing the most urgent challenges in the humanitarian sector. Supported by the ESTDEV – Estonian Centre for International Development Cooperation, it continues to strengthen Estonia’s role as a hub for humanitarian thought leadership.
