Entrepreneurship programme

One way for crisis-affected people to regain their independence and self-sufficiency is through entrepreneurship. We assist people in starting or developing their micro-enterprises to enhance their independence and long-term livelihoods. By helping them create strong business plans, we provide the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to build sustainable businesses that can thrive in their new environments.
ERC

Emergency livelihoods programme

To restore their income and return to normal life, crisis-affected people need immediate support to help them establish a source of income. Through our emergency livelihoods programme, we help people create or restore a sustainable income through various agricultural activities, including livestock and crop farming, beekeeping, food production, and services such as tailoring, crafts, or construction.
ERC

Employability programme

Rebuilding one’s life in a new environment after displacement can be challenging. ERC supports crisis-affected people through employability programmes, helping them gain the necessary skills and confidence to enter the local labour market in the host community and find a job that matches their education, skills and experience.
Estonian Refugee Council

Climate-friendly agriculture programme

Climate change increases existing economic inequalities, particularly affecting the most vulnerable people. We promote and teach communities sustainable and climate-friendly agricultural practices to enhance food security while helping displaced people and their host communities prepare for, cope with, and recover from climate-related challenges.
