Basic needs

We help families cover their most urgent needs when crisis leaves them without essentials. Support may be provided through emergency cash assistance, allowing people the dignity to choose what is most important for them, or through in-kind aid such as food, hygiene kits, or other essentials. This approach ensures families can cope with immediate hardships and focus on rebuilding their lives.

Shelter

After disasters or crises, many families find themselves without safe and livable homes. Our shelter programme helps people regain security and dignity by supporting the repairs of damaged homes and providing emergency shelter for those in immediate need.
Winterisation assistance

Winterisation assistance

Living in crisis-affected areas is challenging under any circumstances, but the situation becomes particularly dire during winter. As temperatures drop and harsh weather conditions set in, the vulnerabilities faced by these communities are exacerbated. We provide winterisation assistance to people in rural and peri-urban areas, helping them meet their heating needs during the winter months.

Health

Crises often limit or cut off access to essential health services, leaving people without the care they need. Women, children, the elderly, and people with pre-existing conditions are particularly vulnerable in crisis situations and require targeted healthcare support to address their specific needs. We help vulnerable people meet their immediate and long term needs related to recovering, maintaining, or improving their mental or physical health.
Education

Education

Armed conflicts, natural disasters, and other crises can create significant financial strain, making it challenging for families to afford school fees and essential supplies. Our education programme helps to reduce these financial barriers, facilitating access to youth and adult education in crisis-affected areas where people are struggling to meet their basic needs.
